Saved From Amputation!!!!!

If I did not meet him one on one, I would have taken this testimony as one of those made up testimonies just to market a product.

But on the 14th of May 2017, I was sitting face to face with him and he told me his story

He is an Engineer by training and calling and had just celebrated his 71st Birth day.

He had been diabetic for 30 (THIRTY) YEARS. The disease had cost him lots of money, lots of stress, lots of sleeplessness and lots of anger. 

He had taken all the medications prescribed by his Doctors and had also veered into taking herbs and roots as given by his peers in the village; but all to no avail.

He was put on a bland diet (which though he never liked but had to comply with in order not to truncate his living); he chose what he drank - no carbonate drinks, no alcohol, no coffee e.t.c.

Once in a while, he would break the law and his blood sugar would hit the roof thus endangering his life.

At a point, he decided to drop orthodox medicines and face the traditional medicines squarely, though they were a bit better but he was never CURED OF DIABETES.

Whenever he heard of a new product being marketed by network businesses, he always made efforts to be one of the first to try it out, at the end of the day, it was not more helpful than what he had already been using.

In 2016, his left leg suffered burns from the exhaust pipe of a motor cycle and that was the beginning of his sufferings. Neither the herbs nor the orthodox medicines were of help in healing the sore; it kept expanding and getting worse as the weeks went by, at a point it started producing very offensive pus that he felt ashamed to come out in the public. He became depressed and confined himself to his house with occasional visitors. After examining the ulcer, the Doctor told him that the ulcer was almost encroaching on his bones and that if that happens, he might have infection of the blood stream (septicaemia) and which would be very difficult to control and may cost him his life.

The Doctor suggested to him that he should allow them to cut off the offending leg to prevent blood infection!!!!

He said his world came to a stand still!!!!

And in his mind's eye, he could see himself hoping around on one leg and one foot and becoming an invalid for the rest of his life.

Even the words from the Doctor that they would provide (artificial leg) prosthesis for him were of no comfort.

He said he rejected the offer of amputation and then went home and cried to God to save him from the amputation or take his life.
